About

Hi, I'm Darien Entwistle — a Florida IT pro, sim racer, and endurance-racing fan who'd rather be camped out at the track.

Full Course Yellow is where I write up the races I attend and the weekends spent camping at them. So far that's meant Florida endurance classics: the Rolex 24 at Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring, where my fiancée and I set up a camp kitchen for the whole weekend.

When I'm not at a track, I'm usually VR sim racing (ACC, AMS2, GT7), tinkering with Raspberry Pis and arcade cabinets, or driving my Tesla Model 3.

Camping at the races

Track camping is half the fun: cooking our own meals, picking backup viewing spots, catching the sunsets, and pacing ourselves through long race days. See the race camping checklist.
